Zack’s Evo VII // StanceWorks

Had the opportunity to shoot Zack’s Evo VII again after shooting it in my early days some years ago. I absolutely love this car and I seem to only shoot Evo’s haha. This car has one amazing story and Josh Wilson did one spectacular job on this feature and super stoked that Stanceworks ran it. For those that want to read it and HIGHLY SUGGEST you do! Check it out here.

The morning was cold, it was a Sunday morning in the fall of 2012. Mike and I got up and drove down 90/94 as we slowly saw the sun rise over the Lake. We originally had planned to shoot on Saturday but upon waking up the sky just wasn’t what I wanted, took the gamble to wait it out another day and I must say it worked out in my favor. We arrived at the location up north and set up right away with what little time we had to catch the sun as it rose into the sky under the apocalyptic cloud that was hovering over. At the same time we were shooting Hurricane Sandy was hitting the east coast which made for some crazy epic skies and some big waves spraying while we moved to the second location.

We moved to a second location and caught some crazy wave sprays! One of my favorite shots from the shoot! Big thanks to Zack, Josh, Mike and Jon for helping out in the bitter cold and getting this done! One of my favorite sets to date.
